Reduce idle account balances and maximize interest income on excess funds. Sweep Repurchase account balances are linked to the commercial checking account and are completely liquid and available for use. A pre-determined target balance is maintained in the commercial checking account. Funds are swept to the Sweep Repurchase account which are in excess of the target balance. Balances are backed by US Government Securities. Interest is calculated daily and paid monthly. These deposits are NOT insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and are subject to investment risks, including possible loss of principal invested.
